Previously released on "Cottage Industrial Vol. 3" compilation CD (Humbug). Recorded 2003.

The debut recording of Nathan Corbin at his first rehearsal with the band. In fact, Corbin was late arriving to the 382 Jeff Street session, so the recording was restarted so he could overdub his synthesizer performance along with additional vocals from the group. Corbin received no preparation nor preview of the music to come and the organ line erupting in the middle of this track is his first improvisational act with Excepter. Title in reference to the Faustian cost.
